dagies
Prior to the Mn game, I watched on FSN the tour that Blais gave of the new arena.I have to say when he got to pointing out all of the Indian Head logos on the carpet I cringed a little. It just didn't seem quite right to be walking on them. However, in reading this article, I did not think of the seal of our nation, etc that is also on the carpet at the White House, etc etc as Strinden pointed out.At this point I would say I am somewhat neutral on that, though to be honest, I still feel somewhat uncomfortable about stepping on someone's face. And this is from a VERY solid supporter of the keeping the name. ScottM
I thought about the logos in the floor too. However, if we were to apply the same logic, I suppose we should take it off the ice sheet too. When I was in the army our unit's crest was painted on the floor and if anybody walked on it, outside of cleaning, they had to do 100 pushups.BTW: Nice Board!
