SIUGRAD99 Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 Hello from a SIU alumnus. I wanted to come make a thread on your site to say Thank You for allowing us to hire your coach. SIU fans know exactly what it is like to lose a coach that did so much for our program. We have lost Bruce Weber to the University of Illinois for Basketball, Matt Painter to Purdue University for Basketball & now Jerry Kill to Northern Illinois. It sucks and I wish there was a way to make it feel different, but SIU fans have come to realize that while we are losing a coach we are gaining respect. UND is quality program that will be a wonderful addition to the FCS. I am confident that you guys will find someone to keep your program on course and continue to develop into the same level of success that you are used to at the D2 level.
