sprig Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Not sure where to find an English audio stream, but the French TSN web site is streaming this game. Sweden is up 1-0 in the first (scored on the first PP of the period). Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Now 2-1 Russia from two PP goals. The three goalposts hit by the Swedes earlier in the period could back to bite them. Quote
sprig Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 Looking like you're right. Russia now up 3-1 in the second. Quote
sagard Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 As much as I hate Canada, I hope they destroy the Russians. Again. Quote
Diggler Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 As much as I hate Canada, I hope they destroy the Russians. Again. Who doesn't? The Canadians could have murdered the entire US team after today's game and I'd still want them to crush the Commies. Quote
sprig Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 4-2 Russia with two minutes left. Looks like another US/Sweden matchup for bronze, Friday, 9AM. Quote

sagard Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Hate? That seems more than a bit too strong. Why? Because they're good? Yep. Specifically because they are better than the guys I cheer for again this year. Even though their Canada's gracious fans cheered for the Russians vs. the US last year, I'll still be pulling for Canada. I just won't like it. Quote

From my own (thoroughly red-blooded American) perspective, few countries have a better neighbor than the US does with Canada. Quote
