sprig
I'm glad that NEVER happened when I was keeping stats at the World Juniors. Think it may be the Swedes version of a sudo reporter?
Siouxdonyms
Fins shooting on everything, but everything is going wide thus far. Another penalty on Finland. 5 minute major (high-sticking) to end the PP.
Siouxdonyms
Finland will be shorthanded for the remainder of the game.

Siouxdonyms
Finland takes another penalty for taking out Skille, who was just standing there. Sounds like frustration for the Fins. 5 on 3 for 2 minutes.
sprig
Is it just my imagination or are a heck of a lot of penalties being called? Unbelievable number, they just won't let this game end. Wonder if it's the same referee that called the Canada/Slovakia game?
PCM
Think it may be the Swedes version of a sudo reporter? Well, believe me, the IIHF does sometimes use sudo-statskeepers. They stuck us with a Finnish female hockey player who wandered around the press box chatting with people when she was supposed to be keeping track of plus/minus. Siouxdonyms
Unsportsmanlike penalty on Finland now. Let's end this and get out of here before anyone gets hurt.

They will invoke the Gopher rule and get the night game US will be back on the ice in about 18 hours after traveling to Leksand, to take on a well rested Canadian team. Siouxdonyms
US going to have to find a way to penetrate Canada's defense. Need team play for an entire 60 minutes to have a chance at Canada. Canada will be well rested, so it won't be an easy job to do. Patrick Kane named Player of the Game.
