Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Broadcast starts in about 10 minutes (12:25p.m. CT). This is where everything matters. You can throw out the Preliminary Round. Doesn't matter how the US got here, so long as they're here. However, now's when they need to be playing their best hockey. Go USA!!! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 Game is underway. Both teams play a physical game, so it should be a fun game to listen to. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 Interference on Finland. US gets their first PP. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 Is that Donald Duck coaching the US? Either that or his cousin Daffy. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 US PP up 20% for the tournament. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 Sounded like a pretty lousy PP. Don't even think the US had a shot. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 Fins arguing that the puck went in the net for them; Frazee saying it didn't. Sounded like there were two or three Fins in on net. So far, no goal. EDIT: Official reviews and says no goal. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 US takes a hooking call - Geoffrion. Let's go PK. Quote

RedFrog Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Is it normal to have your 2 leading shooters (most SOG) be Defenseman? Erik J - 15 SOG Jack J - 14 SOG Kane / Mueller - 12 SOG each Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 Is it normal to have your 2 leading shooters (most SOG) be Defenseman? Erik J - 15 SOG Jack J - 14 SOG Kane / Mueller - 12 SOG each Both of them really like to shoot the puck. Don't know if that's how they play when playing with their normal teams, or because they have lack of confidence in their forwards. Okposo dances around too much and tries to make the plays rather than shooting it. Quote
