CMSioux Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Here's a quote from a Minneapolis paper from SU head coach Bohl - interesting how the difference in scholarships wasn't seen as an advantage when they wanted to continue playing the Sioux.

Riverman Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I suppose the shoe's not on the other foot for the Sioux, since they don't seem to have any problem playing the Winonas and Crookstons with half or less than half the scholarships as they have. We can't play the Bison with 63 scholarships but we will play Crookston with 6 or Winona with 15. Besides, Bohl is acknowledging a difference between 1-A and 1-AA football. The Sioux and their fans were contending there wasn't a difference between D-2 and 1-AA.
SiouxMeNow Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 HEY! at least "they" have the *ALLS to play them*!!!! (* - for $300,000 --- and I thought courage came from a bottle... Now I know it comes from your opponents bank account!! )
