I am a neophyte. Does this mean my fixed dish on The Ralph arena coordinates is not going to bring me the game? Can I punch these in to get the game, or do I need a motor? Thanks. Quote
iceberg Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 you would need a motor or to manually move the dish 4 degrees east (if you made a mark on the mast of the dish it would move about 1/16" to get AMC2) Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Iceberg!!! Dead ahead. Thanks a million for your prompt response. Quote

squirtcoach Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 HANG ON found the FSSN feed IA-8 (normal satellite) 11975 V 4880 If any of you tried to get it, and were getting nothing, it just showed up on my TV after I tried to scan it 10 times. Go Sioux! Quote
iceberg Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I manually typed it in one box. The other (slower) box found it on a blind scan 1 Quote
squirtcoach Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I manually typed it in one box. The other (slower) box found it on a blind scan I had given up and tried to get on CSTV when I heard Pat Sweeney's voice coming out of the Family room! Quote
iceberg Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I scanned IA8 too early and didnt see it. So then I scanned a couple other sats and found a feed of "WDAY SNG" on AMC2 (the raw feed) Scanned IA8 later on the other box and found the commercial feed 1 Quote
a_hockeynut Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Thanks for finding the game! I must admit though, I tuned in expecting (hoping, praying) to hear an announcement on whether the Sioux hockey game would be available on FSSN or not on Saturday. I realize FSN will have it tape delay at 10pm, but am still hopeful to get to see it live! All indications from other posts make it sound like only certain areas will have it live on FSSN, which leads me to believe it will not be beamed up FTA (unless of course Iceberg finds a feed like the game tonight). I will be watching this space for certain, especially if no availability is made public for an FSSN FTA feed!!!!! Quote
