When it was called they complained that they didn't understand how the ref could call a penalty "at this point in the game". Listening/reading gopher fans complaining all week about how calls could go against them with 1 or 2 minutes left in last weeks game brings to mind my question: Am I the only one that remembers a point of emphasis being not to worry about the time left in a game when calling a penalty? Apparently the Sioux D left the BSU player alone to barrel in on Lammy. Lammy made a great sliding save and the guy couldn't lift it over Lammy's pad.
