dagies
......was the recruit at the bar who did not sign with the Gophers. Do you know that? Or are you just conjecturing? Edited December 15, 2005 by dagies
State Of Hockey
Do you know that? Or are you just conjecturing? It's a fact. Doesn't matter....he wasn't drinking and it might have been an 18+ night.

State Of Hockey
In other words, you are conjecturing. No, I saw him at the bar. It was the weekend Fairbanks was at Mariucci, and after seeing how the Gophers played that weekend I would not have committed to the U either. I bet you know the other Gopher recruit who was at the bar that night too, yet you name only one? Why this one?
soohockey15
To add some insight on this subject, I remember that one of the reasons that Forney chose UND was because of his recruiting trip to Minn. Remember, this was during the fall when Forney plays football, so if he was caught in the bar he would've been suspended for the rest of the season, and taking him to a bar and putting his eligibility in jeopardy may have weighed on his decision to come to UND. It would be cool to have a Sioux recruit be responsable for Gopher sanctions. Sanctions are very possible now, given UMTC's questionable past. johndahl
What have they reported on that is incorrect and would have their credibility in question? Channel 9's reporting is generally sensationalized crap. Their big, heavily promoted story the next day was about how some people steal others' lunches from shared fridges at work. They were going to change the channel in the bar, but we were in stitches watching the news report... John
