Goon Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Has been a banner season so far. Was wondering if anyone is having any luck? Devils Lake area is full of duck and geese. Shot my limit 4 times already. Quote

Goon Posted October 14, 2005 Author Posted October 14, 2005 I hate to say this so I have everyone hunting the same day that I am. I believe the Migration is upon us. Today, all of the ducks we shot were not local except the Mallards and Teal. We bagged a red head that was huge. The digers are coming in too. Quote

Not quite, but they were pretty good size and when I cleaned them they were fat as heck. All I know is local birds are not that big, in fact I was not seeing as many Teal today as I had in the past. Goon Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 A little something for the hunters to consider. I thought this was pretty cool and right on the mark. Quote
Goon Posted October 18, 2005 Author Posted October 18, 2005 The local ducks around Lakota, Michigan and Petersburg appear to be moving out. Last three days were really slow. Hopefully the big boys come down soon. Quote
