CoteauRinkRat Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Was reported on KVLY and WDAZ that Tony Bina has resigned from Bismarck and will teach and coach at Central. There has been no official announcement, but KVLY confirmed that Bina will be the head coach for the hockey team. Quote

roper1313 Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Just speculation, but I wouldn't be suprised if you see former UMD sniper and Bismarck High Allum Mike Peluso looked at for the job in Bismarck. I think he was doing some coaching for the Bobcats this winter. If my memory is correct I think Mike was on the teaching track when he was at UMD. Quote
joelbird Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 He was just hired as an assistant by the Bobcats. Quote
roper1313 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 He was just hired as an assistant by the Bobcats. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks, I couldn't remember if he was coaching or just hired. Just remember a blip in The Forum. Quote
teamsioux Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Here is today's Herald story, it also has a remark about Robbie and that he was given the ok to take off the neck brace. Bina hired Quote
Wilbur Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 In other high school coaching news long time Minot high coach Gary Samson resigned today. He is expected to be replaced by Chad Burkhard who has had quite a successful run with the Bantam A teams in Minot (Much like Bill Chase in Grand Forks). Two years ago he coached the Minot Bantamn A team to its first state championship. A majority of those kids will be seniors on this years team. New blood for Minot high hockey.....thank god. Quote
