I find this interesting as a season ticket holder. I know that the price for my BB tickets were up again this year not down. This must only be for the walk up ticket sales.

Yeah, it said "single game". I suspect this is an attempt to boost attendance to utilize the new facilities (though the conspiracy theorists could take it as an ominous indicator about season ticket sales). It makes sense to try to fill the facility, get some new fans accustomed to hitting basketball games, and raise the visibility of the sport.
