I agree people were freaking out about how UND didn't play good against HC. Well in HC's defense they locked it up, iced the puck and had a goalie stand on his head. I think UND will be fine. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 I agree. As the old cliche goes: "A win is a win". I would imagine it is hard to get up for a game against a team everyone says you are going to blow out in front of a small, non-vocal crowd. They did enough to win. Quote
dagies Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 I think we might have seen a different effort had this been in front of a crowd in GF or something like that. In this case I think we were playing just well enough not to lose. My friend and I said it may take a HC tying goal to really rev the team up into another gear, but they never needed it. I think they will show differently tonite against a better opponent and with more "atmosphere". What concerns me most is whether our team is suffering an epidemic or if we are getting better today....................... Quote
