I believe the formula has the #1/#4 seed game on Friday night, and the #2/#3 game on Friday afternoon. The only thing that messes that up is that the Gophers get the night game automatically as has been discussed. However, this year, the Gophers won't be either a #2 or #3 seed unless something really funky happens to WI or Duluth during the first round of the playoffs. The Sioux will be a #1 seed for the Final Five. While it is not out of the question, it is highly unlikely a scenario would arise that would put the Gophers into a #2 or #3 seed for the Final Five. If the Minny makes it this far, they will likely be the #4 seed, meaning they will play the #1 seed Fri night, which would be UND. So either way the Sioux should play the night game. I am going to guess that if the Gophers make it and play the Sioux on Friday night it will be on Fox Sports Net, but if not, will they still show the game even if it was UND playing someone else? What about the championship game? Just wondering if anyone knows. I will be in St. Paul for the games, but my family was just wondering cause they want to see the games here in Grand Forks.
