OETKB
"Fighting Sioux hockey is on the air" is one of my favorite phrases. Sioux hockey really helped me get through some tough transition years while I was moving from city to city.
sioux fan in phoenix
Pregame: Blais: Don't change anything from last night...short, hard shifts. Doesn't get the feeling they're complacent. If anything needs to be changed, don't turn over the puck in the neutral zone because Duluth is good in the counterattack. Sioux assistants last night said Brandt was in "the zone". 1st goal tonight will be a huge psychological advantage. Sandelin: N.D. forcheck never let them get in sync; 3rd period Sioux shorthander was a back-breaker. Will make a couple line changes. Says the Sioux very difficult to come back against. Common theme in the 2 interviews: 1st goal is crucial.

Let's play FIGHTING SIOUX HOCKEY! is pretty good too!
sioux fan in phoenix
Brad Berry often uses foam pucks in practice for blocking shots...looks like this drill is helping them in game situations.
Wreckincrew
I'm glad Brandt is getting the start, he deserves it.
sioux fan in phoenix
Same goalies as last night--Brandt & Reichmuth. Another sellout at the DECC; same Sioux line-up as last night Puck dropped.

sprig
What a shift by the fourth line. Wide open net on the rebound for Stafford but puck hopped his stick.

GBpakrzz
Are you guys watching the game? Seems rather quiet on this board tonight. I think a lot of the guys are watching it on TV and aren't near their computers.
sioux fan in phoenix
Sioux a little sloppier than last night.

OETKB
UND's got no forcheck going tonight. This kind of game plays into Duluth's hands more. End to end wide open is fun to watch, but not really the game we want.

sioux fan in phoenix
TH says it hasn't been a very good period for the Sioux so far. A few defensive blunders doesn't help. 4x4 as Greene & McGregor go to the box.
