The Big Sky conference was formed in 1963 by the University of Montana, Montana State, Idaho State, University of Idaho, Weber State, and Gonzaga. Former members include Boise State, Idaho, Nevada, Gonzaga, and Cal State- Northridge. The Summit has an 8-26 record in tournament play, a 31 percent winning percentage. The Big Sky is 12-49, a winning clip of 24 percent.
