Cratter
In honor of Matt Fratting I wanna Put that out there blow that up. They are the first class ever at UND to play four years without losing anyone along the way. Nobody got cut, nobody transferred, nobody left for the pros early. Frattin smiled and said: First class to stick together. He (Frats) was - without question - more proud about that than his incredible comeback or any goal he scored or anything else Ive talked to him about (which tells you a bit about Matt and this class of seniors). Theyll tell you about the time when Marto and Frattin jumped in Malones Honda Civic and drove 38 hours from Grand Forks to Malones hometown of Miramichi, N.B. It took them four days. Theyll tell you about the time when they all left study hall together and walked outside to get a ride home with Marto and couldnt find the car. His car absolutely disappeared, Frattin said. We eventually found it. It was under a huge snow bank. The upperclassmen had completely covered it with snow. It took us a while to dig it out. It was pretty funny. Im not going to forget that. Thats maybe one of the things thats gratifying to watch about this class, Hakstol said. Nobody is on cruise control. Its the exact opposite. These guys have a real appreciation for whats at hand for them. They are taking advantage every day. From the GF Herald and Sioux Hockey Blog. Old Time Hockey
Great article by Brad. These guys have been fun to watch over the past four seasons. It would make an even better story if they win it all. This team reminds me a little of the 2000 team.
