Last weekend was probably an emotional one and it showed us what the Sioux will be able to do this season. However, they need to keep coming back with the same work ethic and intensity every night. It's hard to get up for games like this after a weekend like they had against the gophers. We've already seen that when the sioux play well, they are one of the best in the nation. This is a special team, they have great chemistry (all those Shattucks boys are playing well together ) and you can tell they are having a blast out there. Such as Lundbohm throwing his stick in the air in celebration after his nice goal on saturday, Canady slapping his stick on the ice near the students after the handshake after he played an awesome series, and Zpar diving into the gopher net to get Greene's first goal. That is the kind of stuff that makes this team so much fun to watch. There is something special with this team, let's hope they come out and keep playing hard this weekend. Smoggy Posted November 14, 2003 Share Posted November 14, 2003 As big of a series as Minny is, it shouldn't affect us. Why? Because we weren't emotionally drained after those games.
