dani_3333 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 We are calling upon all the Fighting Sioux supporters out there to make this last and final push as big as it can possibly be. We are asking that you take a few minutes of your time to write an email to the following people. We need to do everything in our power to make it known that we support the people of both Sioux Tribes and the fact they want to allow the name and logo to stay. At this point the sbohe and und admin are rejecting the sioux people and this is unacceptable. We as the people of North dakota need to stand behind the people of Spirit Lake and Standing Rock and show just how much respect and support we have for them. Its time to flood the emails of the following people to make our voices heard! Please take a few minutes to write a short email expressing your feelings on the name and logo. dagies Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Looks like the NCAA took the cop out answer "don't blame us, blame your state board" when in fact the State Board's actions were precipitated by the NCAA decree. That said, looks like it's the state board that has to be encouraged to change, here.... Quote
