redwing77 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 I've been listening in on this whole thing and there's a lot of mixed feelings in Omaha about the move. ESPN radio brings up the fact that several coaches in basketball don't like the 16 team conferences. I don't know any better to be honest. One thing they did bring up and I'm in agreement is this: Despite Mizzou's recent success in football, I think the Big 10 should court KU instead. KU adds more to the conference than Missouri. They're football team has made major strides and is about the level of Missouri's really but what is huge is the addition of the KU basketball team to the Big 10 conference. But I love the whole thing that just now is it news that the NCAA is nothing about athletics or academics. It's just about money. How is that suddenly news when it's been that way for a very long time? The BCS wasn't proof enough? How many more bowl games would have had to be added before people started saying "Hey... is this about football really?" Quote
