GeauxSioux Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 UND names Steven Parsons men’s and women’s swimming coach University of North Dakota Director of Athletics Brian Faison announced today that Steven Parsons has been named head men’s and women’s swimming coach. A former assistant at UND, Parsons spent the past four years as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at East Carolina University, a Division I program that competes in Conference USA. While at East Carolina, Parsons coached 58 all-conference performers and had 40 school records broken during his tenure. He mentored one NCAA Division I national qualifier and two DI ‘B’ cut performers. Welcome back to UND! Quote
gfhockey Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I heard that many of the older swimmers (jr and Sr) did not have any input in the desicion and once they found that they hired this guy, they were not to happy. Look for some to transfer out of here from what ive been told. Quote
