siouxman68
I have a relative who went to Portland State Univ, who's men's BB team won the Big Sky tourneament and are going to the NCAA tournament. I checked their schedule out and they played Seattle twice, once at the Great Alaskan Shootout and another game at home on Dec 6. At the Shootout they beat Seattle by about 14 pts, but on Dec 6 they won by only 5, 63-58. This is the same Seattle team that we beat once and were not embarassed in the other two games. gopherz
Sorry, but the transitive property doesn't apply in basketball. Team A beat Team B, and Team B beat Team C, therefore Team A should beat Team C. No. Gopher basketball beat Louisville, who is going to be a 1 seed, therefore the Gophers should be a 1 seed. Wrong. You are correct. The Gophers and 2 or 3 other Big Ten teams that will find themselves in the Big Dance, should be in the little dance(NIT)
