mjchewy
Is anyone else having trouble listening to Sioux hockey on the radio, or football for that matter as well? I can log into fightingsioux.com fine and then when I click on the link to listen to the game the media player opens. I then click on the game I want to listen to and it starts buffering for awhile and then says "Error on page" and I get nothing. I am just curious if anyone else is having this problem or if it is just me. I live in Bismarck, so there is usually a local radio station that picks up the game, but the station this year (am 1270) has not had a hockey game yet. It is apparently second fiddle to Bismarck Bobcats and other local sports, which I can live with as long as there is a secondary station to listen to the game, like last year. Sorry, just venting a little. Was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem or has any ideas. Thanks.

I know they had dead air on their streaming site a couple weeks back and a friend said that they were playing a disclaimer or something last night. May be a licensing issue??? Anyway, to be able to get the broadcasts at www.fightingsioux.com, you have to first register for a free subscription. This is good for one calendar year. I had trouble getting the webcast to work last night, then thought to check my subscriptions and had to renew, after which it worked great. sprig
Here are the radio stations in ND that carry the hockey games. I've listened to 710AM in Bismarck and 1390 in Minot when traveling.

Walsh Hall
Last year 550 and 710 worked great. This year those two stations have not been carrying Sioux sports. I'm in Bismarck as well and this year has been incredibly frustrating. Their hasn't been radio coverage on 710, 550 or 1270. I can't believe that no stations pick up the games and KFGO.com hasn't been reliable. Fightingsioux.com is the best bet but there have been issues with that as well. AZSIOUX
from brad on tonights game A couple of notes if you want to follow this weekend's games against No. 1 Colorado College: On radio: Saturday night's game will be on Cat Country 100.3 instead of the regular Fox 96.1 FM. This is because of the UND football game. Friday night's hockey game will still be on 96.1 FM.
