hrkac Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 The Devils weren't going to trade Zach. Who started that dumb azz rumour. Must've been Ecklund. Quote
SportsDoc Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 Not trying to flame here, but where did anyone with any credibility say the Devils thought about dealing Parise for Lang? That makes zero sense from a New Jersey perspective ... why would they trade one of their top forwards who is a budding star for a guy making a ton of money that is old and hurt all the time? Could not agree more, Parise is signed for next 3-4 years at a bargain price. Plus, I heard Lou Lammarillo quoted on XM just two weeks ago saying the only two untouchables on the Devils this year were Zajac and Parise. Makes no sense at all, probably came from Eklund at Hockeybuzz, he's always making just enough crap up that he hits once a year and says how good his sources are. He missed on just about everything he said at last year's deadline. Didn't pay attention to him this year. Quote

Just Curious Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 This should probably go in the former players section, but either way... Watched the Nashville vs. St. Louis game tonight (actually still in progress). So far he (Bochenski) has a goal and an assist. His line is definitely the best line for Nashville tonight. Also both announcers have been very complimentary about Bo and his travels through the NHL. They talked about his problems adjusting to the muscle he put on and they said they watched him in the morning skate and he seems to have found his stride again and got back his jump. Hopefully Bo keeps up the work and finally found a home. Quote
