Both the Final 5 and the Frozen 4 are at the X this year so I'm confused which tickets they got...I think they mean NCAA Frozen Four

I'll take that bet and as far as Minnesota goes - Minny Mystery fans follow and speak highly of their swim team if they are winning and when all else fails - like the hockey team.Minnesota? The entire state will be tuned in to watch the Gopher bball team in the tournament. The hockey team has it's rabid 5% fanbase.North Dakota? I guarantee more people in the state will be tuned in to the MBB tournament than will be watching UND hockey.

Garret Roe is still the crown. If Cepis was serious about usurping Earl, he'd've dove last night too.
It's just tough because when Earl was in the league, there really was only him diving consistently with a few players here and there diving as well.
Now, we have Roe and Cepis... doubly agravating.
By the way, VV got "tripped" or "hooked" in the game and slid into the boards. The Gopher player barely touched his skates. It was a dive. And the Sioux went on the PP.
So, is Cepis a cheap player for diving? I don't like him for doing so, but VV proved my point all along: Diving is only illegal if the officials are willing to call it. They aren't, so it's in play.
We should've dove more. Lamoreaux should've dove in the first period when he was high sticked. VV should've rolled on the ice when he was tripped with less than 2 minutes left in the game.
Cepis WILL dive tomorrow too. EXPECT IT.
well - if they won't call the dive - don't call the penalty that forced the dive - or is that too simple.

I enjoy wearing all of my jerseys and feel that with many students possibly gone, it would be tough to pull it off. As gopherz said, it does make the other fans stand out even more and there will probably be many in attendance. I think we should pick to wear the black jerseys for both games and have a black out if anything to do something different.
too bad - who cares about the 200 or so jokers from minny mystery - white is the home color and white it should be

sold my two for $40 for yesterday's games and $20 for tonight's to two differant folks. Wish I could go but have to be at work too early in the morning. I would have taken this weekend off if the Sioux were here though.

it seems if mercyhurst wins the gophs have a shot, if air force wins its golfing time more than likely. wow is it close. remember for all doing bracket predictions to include bemidji state in there as well as they dont show in the rankings

Unfortunately I probably won't know for sure until Sat morning. We are staying in downtown Minneapolis Friday night, and I know I will have to take the light rail at least once to the MOA, hopefully Friday afternoon. Is there any shuttle/bus service from the MOA to DT St. Paul?

and Jesse won with 37% of the vote - so (for all you gophs fans) that means that 63% of this state voted against him - and that guy from dead-air america is going to win with about 40% as ACORN and the hollywood money simply had to FIND a few more votes than Norm already had in that fiasco they called a recount.
not that I'm a big supporter of Norm - but damn - the angry comedian simply smelled blood in the water, moved from N.Y., opened up a PO box in St. Louis Park and bought a senate seat - but oh well, thats Minny politics

Our couple friends planned a getaway on Final 5 weekend! Friday, I'll watch the game from the hot tub in our room, but Saturday is going to be on issue.
your not nuts - I signed up and got them a couple of years ago but then they abruptly stopped at the end of the year. I can't remember who sponsored them though.

yes, but for the last however many years the final field has been based off the pairwise. this isn't like the ncaabb tournaments where it's all subjective after the autobids. 5 years ago cc was host and didn't make it and I think the same with NH a few years ago as well. thurs game will be an elimination game for one team. the iwnner still probably needs to win one more to solidify a spot as who knows what may happen with the ecac or hockey east or for that matter the wcha.

We really should just give up our spot so Donna and the gals can play in their own regional.
of course the gophs will be in - but the folks here (including myself) can't "grasp" that this can't occur without reason because of the "rules" that govern the selection process.
Anyway, doesn't pairwise only "mimic" said selection process? Not all of it I'm sure.
