On that first goal for Cags even if it was a high stick it hit the goalie before he touched the puck again so it shouldn't matter. Once the puck is touched by the other team the high sticking would no longer be in question would it?
the other team must have possession and control for the high stick to become waved off

Or bring in Fred Harbinson.
And let Nick take over Penticton. I like that
-
Bring in Nick Fuher as an assistant. Have an inside track on Jost and Fabbro
-
What about Nick Fuher?

Schmaltz is one of the best all around D men we've had in a long time. Played in all situations, incredibly smooth skater, and was the one of the better puck movers on the team. There is a reason the guy was on the top d pair all three years.

Schloss confirmed it. He's gone.

Can you imagine this place had Zane McIntyre done that in the title game?
It would have somehow been Haks fault..

Omg on a party bus in forks and a **** the bison chant breaks out. I thought only SU folks did that. Und students would never do that
Clearly you are mistaken. The rivalry is dead among students...

Wooooops....yep...guess I had Swedish chicks on the mind.....
SwedeLadies....SwissLadies.....
Either way....
I feel that if he is basing his decision on girls, he should take Ralph Cox's advice.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Auston Matthews would help our chances rather than hurting them.

Just a hypothetical question, if Ford were to come here next fall, how long would he have to sit out?
-
They're playing in the Junior A challenge Canada West team with Rhett Gardner.
Andy Johnson still thinks Wisconsin is in the hunt to land them.
Anybody else in the hunt besides the CHL
-
Fabbro and Krys would be better commitments then Ford.
What's the latest on Fabbro and Jost?
-
Interesting, those were his final 3 and his dad played for uw as well. Sounds like a stecher type from scouting reports when he commited.
His brother is also at Wisconsin
-
No thanks, pass
Why?

Read on twitter that Keegan Ford is going to finish the season in Dubuque and look at attending a different college next fall. I remember he had his decision narrowed down to UND, Ohio St., and Wisco before committing to the badgers.

What do you guys think? Flipped Pogs up to the LJ line to replace OD and put Murphy in with Olson and Sim-O.
Could flip Pooly in with Olson and Sim-O and Murphy with Patts, too.
Drake - Mark - Parks
Pogs - Luke Johnson - St. Clair
Patts - Gaarder - Poolman
Olson - Sim-O - Murphy
Gage Ausmus – Troy Stecher
Nick Mattson – Paul LaDue
Keaton Thompson - Jordan Schmaltz
With as well as the Simo, Olson, Pog line played on Saturday, I would be surprised to see them split up.

Any news regarding Jost and Fabbro?

Anyone know why H. Shaw isn't on this listing? Is he too old or something? His output at the USHL level has been legit for the past two years, he also is playing in the world Jr A Challenge I believe.
The only reason I can think of is because he isn't the biggest of players. He is about the same size, maybe even smaller, than Stecher. But the fact that Stecher isn't drafted either just baffles me.

Wolanin also signed his NLI

I just don't see Jordan as being anywhere near ready. But then, I don't know what one more year would do to get him ready for what is going to come at him in his own zone (bigger, faster, seasoned players who will know the book on him).
I don't think they want him to be ready right away, but if he stays another year, then they run the risk of losing him.
-
That still list Luke Voltin and I believe he's decommitted to UND.
They took Boeser off of Wiscos list already so I don't know. I had thought Voltin decommitted as well
-
For next years class, I'm going to assume Jordan is gone and depending on how he performs the rest of the season LaDue as well. I would think then we bring in Shaw and Evers to replace and Wolanin and Chartrand as depth players replacing Panz and Mattson.
At forward I don't think we will lose anybody to early departures. I think Chicago would like Nick to develop physically for another year especially depending on how long he is out with his injury. This leaves us losing five forwards and replacing them with Gersich and Rowe for sure and probably these three as well (Gardner, Wilkie, Yon) unless we can land Matthews or Boeser.
