How about option D?  Jerry is better than Tommy, but the coaches are afraid to pull the trigger?

Again I don’t know the facts on the situation.  I find it hard to believe we have all these QBs and nobody gives us a better chance to beat a good team than a qb who doesn’t like to run and who will get us about 4.5 yards per attempt.

Afraid of what? That wasn't an option for a reason. It's genuinely dumb to think that.

So you KNOW he is not better upside than Tommy?  Was that your bike ride INTEL?

No, I do not. I'm guessing and hoping he has higher upside than Tommy. But right now, Tommy is better. If he wasn't then Jerry would be playing.

Three options, go ahead and pick:

A). Tommy is better than Jerry right now. (Emphasis on right now. I hope when Jerry takes over, he ends up being the best QB in program history)

B). Jerry is better than Tommy, but the coaches aren't smart enough to see it.

C). Jerry is better than Tommy, but the coaches are purposefully losing games by not playing the better QB.

I'll go with option A. You?

They are awful. The ag bumpkin who sat behind me at 2021 NDSU@UND was quiet the whole game but turned into a damn bugler  in the 4th quarter: “Luepke, Luepke, Luepke!”… my God, please just beat these cocky b*stards to the south, just please.

Had a similar experience as well. Bison fan didn't say a word all game until the 4th quarter. Imagine my shock when I turned around and saw a 300 pound, one tooth monster.

I agree, we did beat him and the Jacks.  It was our last win against a really good team…

The argument on Jerry would be much better if it wasn't based on a single bike ride by a random practice one day as well.

You said to even talk about it is idiotic.  I simply pointed out it has happened.  If not for the injury the Jacks would have won a natty.  We are just trying to beat a good FCS team once in awhile.

Maybe Kaminski is not that good, I don’t know.  If he is good and is not playing because he is a true Frosh, he will likely be somewhere else next season.

UND beat that true Frosh phenom. Jerry is good. His time will come. If he was better than the other QB's right now, he'd be playing.

I agree with you on this. Kaminski has stuck with us for this long, I just don't see him entering the portal because he isn't starting as a freshman.

And if he does, then that's not the kind of player needed in a program. I'm extremely excited for Jerry when his time comes. It's not his time yet.

Royce kinda screw it up a bit by throwing on the brakes, he should have just went for it.  He almost managed to score on that however.

Needs to run into the catcher when he had the chance. No need to try and go around him.

    The Kaminski talk is nuts.

I just read that Eli Manning sat the RS year AND the following year. He then played 3 consecutive years in college. He said he NEEDED to sit and learn those first two years.

    It's completely idiotic.

Biggest effect in terms of attendance is what UND did (and largely didn’t do) the last two games which ended in blow out losses. People want to watch a winner.

With all that said, the biggest boost is still ahead: beat Western Illinois, and then beat NDSU. People care about UND-NDSU matchup head to head and who wins, even the lay person / average fans of college football in the state.

Wasn't this literally disproven to you by the Nebraska argument? Insert hoopsfan downvote)

What accomplishments to suggest we should crown him? Hoping it happens, but he still has to prove himself. Offense still hasn’t held up against top competition since 2019. There’s doubt, and they’re justified in my opinion.

Who's crowning anybody? He said he trusts Danny more than some weirdo on a bike.

Give Feeney the Western Illinois game. See how he does. Give him some experience. I’m guessing all of our QBs can win that one, so it seems like little to no risk. Will it be a great assessment?  Probably not, but the experience would deepen the room soooo much. Keep NDSU guessing which QB we start on the 14th.

QB is not our only problem…but it’s a place to start with a solution.

Whoever starts against Western is starting against NDSU, barring injury or a complete and total collapse.

his hudl, twitter, and other people that know some coaches.............and yes my few times i've biked by.

you guys have lost this "tommy is the guy"....stay in your lane.

I just don't understand why you think so little of Jerry's character then?

  13. 12 minutes ago, SIOUXFAN97 said:

even crazier how little you think of his skill level after watching tommy two gloves.....

How does Tommy's performance say anything about Jerry? Friendly reminder to everybody, his obsession with Jerry stems from riding his bike by a random practice.

    nope...kills momentum for qb's when that crap happens....if you got 2 qb's you don't have 1.

if fenney takes over jerry is as good as gone.

Crazy how little you think of Jerry's character.
