You’re lost and apparently unable to face reality. UND football has had both a 3-8 and 5-6 season within the past 6 seasons and won only 1 playoff game over the past 15 seasons. UND is 1-9 vs NDSU and SDSU during the D1 era …

They are regionally and nationally irrelevant. Need changes. Your bullsh*t narrative bandaid doesn’t change that.

With all that said, basketball program is worse than football program, but both need change.

Weird, this is exactly what I said. Fun chat, bro.

Ha! I’m the stupid one? You should look in the mirror. UND has no use for people like you; you just provide excuses, which UND doesn’t need anymore of. UND football is a tetter-totter of irrelevance; accept it; winning season followed by a losing season. Back and forth: Irrelevant. NDSU and SDSU rule the roost. UND football has won one playoff game in the past 15 seasons…

For all intents and purposes, UND football and basketball are on the same path.

Did you get all that, stupid?

Nah they're not. You can say it all you want but it's not even close. Men's basketball is currently at the complete bottom of the barrel. Football is not. Sorry that doesn't fit your narrative.

Chaves has his own agenda. Conversations are limited if not useless, in my experience. Maybe I’ll try again if UND football and basketball continue to go down the path of irrelevance.

Saying the men's basketball program and football program are going down the same path really shows how stupid you are.

    Differing opinions.

He must at least be close.  Messi first, Ronaldinho, second.

    https://www.ranker.com/list/the-best-soccer-players-of-all-time/ranker-soccer

My opinion....  I just find Ronaldinho a whole lot more fun to watch.  Love the level of skill.  The big smile  on his face when he played.  Wasn't a flopper.

How can you not like this guy?..

He's easily one of if not the most entertaining player of all time. Doesn't crack my top 5 though.

    1. Messi

    2. Maradona

    3. Pele

    4. Cristiano

    5. Cruyff

HAHAHAHAHA this is the picture you use to prove that 49 had the ball?!

Why did TCU make the CFP over Alabama?  Bama is better and would beat them by at least 2 touchdowns..   There is subjectivity in all college post season selections outside of college hockey which uses the pairwise-rankings.

You're right. Some teams seem to get the benefit of that subjectivity more than others.

‘06 is not wrong. If UND had won in Fargodome this year the bracket would’ve looked far different.

It's also not relevant to the argument at hand. Why was Montana St. moved from 3rd to 4th on the last day? If the only reason was to avoid interconference matchups in the semis, fine. But that reason absolutely opens the door to conspiracies being thrown around.

You’re spinning yourself in circles trying to make this losing argument. What happens to your argument if sac state wins? Ndsu is on the road the way the bracket was set up. No conspiracy, no advantage, just good old fashioned upsets. You want ndsu on the road in the playoffs? You need to win games that’s it.

My argument is that NDSU going on the road to Sac is a lot easier than them going on the road to SDSU. What happens if Sac wins? Well they didn't, so it sounds like my argument is pretty valid. You still have yet to give me a reason as to why NDSU jumped Montana St. on the last day of the season.

I guess we’ll never know. And if sdsu doesn’t get it together here, your argument falls apart even further.

Care to tell me what happens to my argument if SDSU wins?

Not sure that the notion that the MVFC was very, very down this year is really correct. Sagarin, for instance, has the MVFC rated above the Big Sky (and NDSU over MSU). Watching the pathetic defense I saw in the Sac State game last night, I'd say that Sagarin is right, the 2nd place MVFC team ought to be seeded over the 2nd place Big Sky team this year.

According to the committee, you're wrong. I don't think you're wrong, but the people who make the decisions do.

Watched every snap and every snap of ndsu football for the last 20 years. I know what type of team gives us trouble and that’s it. Incarnate word will give us trouble too. QB who can scramble to throw and extend plays has been our kryptonite for decades.

Sure, and a defense as soft as baby poop. NDSU would have rolled them by 25.

  13. 1 minute ago, Bison06 said:

Absolutely, this year sac state was one of those teams that I think gives ndsu a lot of trouble. They were ranked 1-2 all year.

Tell me you didn't watch any of their games without actually telling me you didn't. NDSU would have gone to Sac St. next weekend and won by 25.

What, other than you wanting to make your argument makes you think SDSU in brookings is a tougher matchup than Sac St at home?

You said yourself that there are maybe 1-2 teams that can compete with NDSU at the FCS level. Assuming one of those teams is SDSU (bold, I know) are you actually saying that Sac St. was the other team?

  15. Just now, Bison06 said:

If those two teams are flipped, nothing changes. This is the oddest argument I’ve ever heard.

Yes, cause being on the road at Sac St. and being on the road in Brookings are the exact same thing. Exact same thing. Time to start using your brain a bit here.

Nonsense. NDSU lost by a combined total of 5 points to a P5 team and to the #1 rated FCS playoff team...should, or at least could, have beaten both of them. A very good case could be made for them as the #2 overall seed. If not for a slew of injuries, they would be the odds on favorite to win again in Frisco. They may be anyway.

Congrats! Now look at Montana St. resume and tell me why NDSU jumped them on the last day of the season.

Keep this in mind, the Missouri Valley Conference was very, very, very down this year....
