I think Mallory will do just fine. I believe she is the glue of the team. I've heard before the players respect her way more than they did Brew. It was time for him to go. Good luck to Mallory next season!

I heard from someone around the BESC that Ramsey is a poor shooter. A gifted and athletic player, but horrible shooter.

Brew NEEDS to go! He quits coaching any time the team starts to slide. He never changes up his defensive scheme during a game. A little zone against USD would have at least showed he was trying to be competitive. Has anyone noticed how he consistently takes out the hot handed player when they are on a roll? Borowicz was on fire against SDSU and he subbed her out. He does it all the time. Makes no sense. I don't think he knows what he's doing out there. I believe he still has one more year on his contract. Anyone think Chaves would buy him out of his contract next year?

I think Sather has won this team a few games this season with his coaching philosophy and play calling. Their team play and free throw shooting has obviously improved. Defense has also improved, but we don't have the talent to defend some of the better caliber players in the league. As for Moody, he was always a liability defensively and I heard he is looking to enter the transfer portal. I also heard there is some unrest within the team with some of the players not too happy with Sather. My guess is some of the players that were playing under Jones aren't happy with the increased structure and discipline that Sather has brought to the team. In my eyes, good riddance if that's the case. This team lacked structure and discipline under Jones' watch and you could tell.

It is amazing you can tell the intent of a player from a video board replay.
In reality you can't.
You're argument is the same as me saying I saw UND defenders punching our O-Linemen in the groin on the ground after the whistle was blown (that is as dirty as it gets).
Finally, someone tell Cole Reyes to take his hat off during the post game presser. That is low-class sore loser action.
Cole wears his hat like that all the time. Not a classless move like you're implying.

There's so much more than that...all of you who's only argument against the North Stars, because of a Minnesota connection, are closed minded. It would have nothing to do with Minnesota or their retired hockey nickname. It has everything to do with North Dakota as a state. We are one of the most northern of states, we are one of the leaders in oil production, low unemployment, agriculture, one of the most northern Universities etc.. We are the North Stars in many ways. Why is everyone so biased and negative to all of these suggestions when you all know we have to change and there is no going back. If you believe we should be something other than what is suggested by the committee than write the Herald and really get your opinion heard. I will always be a Fighting Sioux supporter/fan forever but the nickname needs to be changed.I don't understand why North Stars is so much more popular than Sundogs. One's a ball of gas billions of miles away and the other is the reflection of light against ice. Neither one seems very inspiring or intimidating to me.
I can't think of a reason someone would like North Stars as a nickname other than they liked the Minnesota North Stars or they just think it sounds cool. If they think it sounds cool, then say North Dakota North Stars out loud 10 times. You'll never want to hear the word north again.

Please use some common-sense when you post.
"Most people" who are familiar with UND football, and even honest NDSU fans, understand that UND football is improving. There is no reason UND can't be a top 3 Big Sky Conference team every season considering where its facilities and budget are at right now. Of course, this can only happen as long as UND is led by competent coaches; fortunately, Bubba and his assistants are just that. Unfortunately, before last season, UND was led by incompetent coaching.
UND, in 2013, went 3-8, then, after Mussman was fired, they lost several key contributors, including a couple who will be playing/starting on FBS squads in 2015. Bubba, coaching a decimated, inexperienced roster, then went ahead and improved two games from 3-8 in 2013 to 5-7 in 2014. Now, UND has its entire defense returning (which was #1 in the Big Sky Conference in 2014) and several talent additions to the offense (including a few in progress) for the 2015 season. Also, the recruiting classes Bubba has put together so far are filled with ND/MN/Canadian talent which will better prevent defections.
"Most" - as you put it - would look at that and see improvement in 2015 for UND. Mark my words, UND will have a winning season in 2015.

Well, if you see "visible" improvement in a 5-7 season with, maybe, one significant win...well more power to you. Most people would say that, despite the great Bubba's presence, UND hasn't proven a thing on the field yet.

Both games this weekend were tough to watch from an offensive standpoint. It was made clear we have to find other scoring options minus Rebraca. There was way too much dribbling around the perimeter and not enough penetration. Ihenacho needs to look to score more than he does. He's very athletics and young, i get it, but he needs to start trying to get to the basket more. Free throw shooting definitely needs to be addressed as well.
