BC Atletas who UND beat 91-79 just took down Georgetown 90-85...NBC College basketball talk had GTown preseason 14th and ESPN has them preseason 24th.

Marquette and Georgetown have been playing to win ...playing the top guys most of the games. Bernstine is played very well...especially for a guy that has not played a game for 18 months...Gtown has picked up some top 20 preseason ratings

Georgetown will play the ital dream team next week... UND next victim BC Atletas will be playing Marquette tomorrow and also Georgetown next week... comparing outcomes can be interesting but needs to be taken with a grain of salt...

Marquette beats Haukar 89-82. Marquette length, quickness and athleticism too much. NBC college basketball talk has Marquette rated preseason 20th.. Haukar will likely be tired tomorrow and perhaps view UND as a let down game.. The Gym was not air conditioned and was very hot and humid. Players slipped and fell quite often in the second half...nobody got injured but the floor became too slippery as the game progressed.

halftime Haukar Basketball (Iceland) 43-37 over Marquette. Marquette Has a Top 10 5*recruit, a top 40 recruit, a top 50 recruit a 3 more top 100 kids plus another ESPN 4*. Looks like Huakar is a very good Euro Team, They Pass and they shoot very well....Jones could have scheduled some lame teams like Creighton U did.(won first 2 games by 75 points each)...but it looks like he wants the team to play tough competition.

I have seen him play, I know how the AAU system works. If you want to believe that Martin bros the 4th rated AAU team in Iowa(Having lost to 2 of 3 teams rated above them and beat none of the 3 team rated higher} this year is a national powerhouse higher rated than all 40 Nike EYBL teams then be my guest.. UND has made their fare share of recruiting mistakes ,player development not the problem ..With only 2 open offers and lots of time left the team should aim higher... If Collins and Avants do not out play their offer lists/ratings then UND could be in a bind down the road unless there is some positive attrition.

This AAU rankings and tourney does not include the EYBL and adidas uprising teams where the big boys compete... This AAU ranking and tourney are for the lower level national programs. The AAU website rankings had MN Comets ranked 8th nationally....they were a mid level AAU team in MN. ....Finished 10TH In MN with 28-19 per north star hoops....
10 Comets Lewis 28-19 SW Stars (x2), Fury Jordan, Fury Wilde, Heat Vang, Fury Zurn 16, Grassroots, WOTN Swed, RA Jay (x2), Heat NW, Swish Fury Wilde, WOTN Nicols (x2), Heat Vang, Select Altenhofen, Select Ohnstad 10. The Elite program in Iowa all iowa attack....got invited to play in the 40 Team Nike EYBL league next season... I watched Martins last 2 games and Brown did not start, one kid in front of him was a nice mid major kid. Billy had 6 points in 2 games, got pulled after 2 straight turnovers in final. His defense was ok, maybe if he concentrates on one sport he might be an ok back up as a 5th year senior.

Didn't his AAU team win the national championship? I haven't seen any box scores that showed how he did but he was on a pretty good team. I also have not saw much of him in action except his highlight tapes but if the coaching staff was confident enough after seeing him in person at the elite camp, then I would assume they know what kind of player he is.
Team won a level B "national tourney" in Kentucky no prep stars or rated AAU teams played in it. Prep Hoops Iowa final rating had them rated 4th in low talent Iowa final 17U AAU ratings.
