Everything you say consists of pessimism.
First it was Brian Jones is a great coach that isn't going anywhere.
Then it was Brian Jones may get fired, but it won't be until the end of the season if he does.
Now, you're implying Jones may get the axe but you're also saying UND is a lowly destination that won't be able to hire any quality replacements because of low RPI and a low projected salary.
Quite frankly, with that track record, I don't think UND men's basketball fans have to worry too much about what you're saying.
grow up...Never said jones was great coach, never said jones would not get fired in 2016, Very childish ...

One-year contracts in South Dakota.
smith took a pay cut and assumed the one year contract risk to take USD job...Do not see UND likely to top out at 125k for nex HC

If Jones were to be let go, who are legitimate candidates? Two that come to mind are Walthall from MSUM and Craig Smith from USD.
really Smith will drop to a lower RPI conference and his 185k salary to coach at und where the HC has never topped 100k

I will always root for the team and the players. I enjoy watching them and believe they are very talented.
I have a hard time cheering for a coach who throws those same players under the bus.
if the players who you claim to be speaking for agree with you about jones expect them to lose every game from this point on in order to expedite the firing of the coach who throws them under the bus

chance for the team to get a W and get back a little swagger...some children here will be rooting for Waldorf as they prefer the team loses in order to get jones fired.

So it's childish to call out a worthless coach and to better the program with change? I think it's childish to ignore the problems with the coaches staff and come up with the same excuses which has been festering this team for years. If it was up to you Mussman would still be with football team and no one would be talking playoffs. The men's basketball team is broke and it starts at the top with Jones. You must be a die hard Jones supporter (or relative) to not see that.
you are pretty smart for one who did not know bowling green was a D1 win for the program and also for a guy who posted Jones needs to make the Big Sky Tourney this season...nuff said!

UNI opens at 11 pt. fav. Will need at least 3 guys to have good games to have a shot. Geno needs to protect the rock better and drop the casual street ball passes that do not work against D1 defense. Will likely be the first time in UND D1 history that a basketball team beat a team who beat the number one team in the Country

A 5 pt underdog winning is an upset regardless of expectations, plus FGCU 249 Ken Pom rating at home vs a 281 und Ken Pom rating

yes upset = the team favored to win loses...as in they were upset by under dog....non upset is when the team favored to win...wins. For example if Wisc is a 26 pt favorite vs UND in basketball and Wisc wins the game there is no upset...however if UND won than UND upset Wisc.

ESPN 3 tilt, BG opened up as 5 pt fav. Serious money on UND drops line to 3. BG looks down this year due to loss of NBA big .. If UND summer trip means anything positive UND should pull an upset here.

Drick best rebounder on team. Shanks for some reason does not block out very well, he should be a better area rebounder than he has shown. Geno's foul trouble forced him to lighten up on D. Couple calls were cheap do not see Geno getting into major foul trouble very often. When ESPN updates stats Geno will lead the nation in 3pt FG%. Geno was solid from 3 in high school but dribble drive was his forte....Hopefully he will be solid from 3 in college. Next 3 games vs mid majors will be a good barometer for UND
