The post is meant to point out that the FCS isn’t the pinnacle of football. To be fair, a lot of teams in the FBS should be in the FCS and vice versa. UND recruits D2 talent, and NDSU recruits top FCS talent, with a few that end up being NFL starters. My thoughts anyways.

I’ll be passing this on to some family members who donate quite a bit of money. See what their thoughts are.

I have multiple accounts. I also rarely comment, and have been following along since the early 2000s. The person who is the problem, calling me part of the problem. Joke.

The real issue is tradition. The younger generations are not here. They won’t be at the games in the future, and their kids just the same. Consistently having seasons like this will having lasting effects. Winning the MVC on a shortened season shouldn’t be considered a big achievement, albeit a small one.

A little over the top, and I think you mean perpetuating. I agree, some of these football fans here see through a closed lense. If they’re ok with Bubba ball, then they can enjoy watching D2 football every Saturday.

Chaves is fine sending us to P5 schools to get pummeled, just to get that big check. Nobody outside this forum cares, as I’ve said before. We need an identity, and not having any playmakers on either side of the ball is big problem. Can anyone confidently say that this team will be a playoff winner over the next few years?

Start a petition to out Bubba? Protest with our feet, and don’t go to home games? it’s going to be mediocrity for the next decade if we don’t make a change now.

Exactly, there is this thing called coaching. Player development and schemes. Bubba ball hasn’t worked, and it’s time to move on.

Need a fresh start. No identity on either side of the ball. Who could we bring in to make this change?

The truth is, nobody outside of this forum takes this football program seriously. Can’t even fill the Alerus center in the year 2022. Big fat joke.

Find the best up and coming D2 head coach, and throw money at him. We want to win, instead of simply participating.

That’s an incredible gift. It’s humbling, and hopefully that money isn’t squandered. People talk about blue chippas, but I personally really like bringing in guys who want to grow as people and not just use it as a springboard for the NHL.
