  1. The one thing I noticed with the women was the amount of selfish play.  Players looked to do too much one on one play and not dish the ball until they were in trouble.

it was worse last year.  I like players that enjoy an assist as much as scoring

None, zero, zilch.  Nobody else wanted him but us.

    There

So you shouldn’t offer until others have?

who will be first then ?

sometimes would you think let’s offer and hope no one else does

Hutter's social media posts after the Schiller announcement have me thinking there is no love lost between those two. Was there friction there?

  4. I don’t think a coaching change would bring much different results until  a new coach can bring in his players and coaching philosophy.

Im not seeing the next head coach on the bench now in my opinion either

need a coach that knows players to bring in and kids want to play for

yes, it's been a tough day. BUT, I will say - I've had fantastic conversations with Dane Jackson the past couple of days, and I feel really good about his vision and the future of the program. Losing guys to the portal is tough, but I think it's also worth noting that sometimes that creates more opportunity for newcomers to shine, and for current guys to step up. We (the collective and UNDAAF) are working our tails off in unison with the coaches to get to where we all want to be - winning a national championship!

Don't get me wrong - I'm not a rose-colored glasses all the time guy. We may have more rough patches in front of us. But, long-term, I believe we're in a good spot to get back to where we all want to be.....and much of that is because of support from guys like you.
I shy away from sharing numbers in terms of what we’re paying players, simply because I don’t want that info to leak to our competition. But I can tell you that in hockey and football – we will be very competitive this year and that will just continue to grow.

How do you know what players will be getting, who is sharing this information?

  6. Grand forks is too small to be able to raise the kind of money these kids think they are worth

charles Barkley said it best when he said adults need to get in the room and fix this

any business needs to ask what will my return on my investment be

pay a kid $xyz this year and they are gone next year , I won’t shop for anything just because an athlete says it’s good

‘if a kid leaves they should have to pay the school they are leaving from a % of their next contract , just like coaches do

Ok, fair enough. In your opinion, what should he be saying? He's a local newspaper writer writing about college hockey. I don't get why people think he needs to be an investigative reporter and reveal all the secrets.

    He is a good writer

years back he got into politics which he shouldn’t have and he quit that after a few suggestions
