should new houses get a tax break beside the new $1650 from the state ?
maybe a 5 year tax break would make more sense or 5% decrease per year in tax break for 20 years , just be fair to current tax payers when new infrastructure is needed.
remember nothing is free, someone somewhere is paying for it

You really don’t see a lot of the development in GF since it’s mostly on old highway 81, South Washington
seems to be a lot of apartment buildings but single family homes need to be built.
is home ownership important to the young families?

saying no one would want to drive the 35 miles to an airport
what do large metro flyers have to do? Many are 60 miles or more away
keep the local airports for UND and private airplanes , same with hector
makes too much sense

if grand forks isn’t building more living spaces of all kinds it’s going to be left further behind than it is
build what people want, Fargo and Bismarck are building snowbird type housing now where you actually own the space and pay for it and the hoa fees monthly, then sell when you move on.
build where there is actually infrastructure in place so the costs are lower , up not out .
