My scam e-Bay seller was Jane Trusty. I had a ball with her jacking her around. Kept telling her to send tickets, and I would send cash, with a big tip. Scary thing is, when I asked her to send me a .pdf of tickets, she did send a photo of tickets.
Anyway, her claim that her PayPal account was shut down for nine days was a dead giveaway. That, and the fact that my "official" e-Bay Notification of Purchase, although on an e-Bay banner, looked like it was written by a fourth grader.
I think that they use the reference to a Pay Agent in the U.K., and insist on the use of Western Union, to maybe avoid potential mail fraud charges. Who knows.
My ebay invoice also looked like it was written by a fourth grader. My sellers name was Rob Mark and wanted payment sent to Joel Waters.

Denver Craigslist has tickets for sale in which you e-mail the person for more info and they tell you to go to E-bay to purchase tickets. Once on E-Bay site, they say Paypal is not being accepted but use Western Union. DO NOT use Western Union.

I had the exact situation happen to me on Monday, and thankfully I never sent any money. I still have copies of the emails with the guy. DO NOT fall for the ebay invoice that he will send you, he also says your going through an ebay agent. He told me his paypal is not working and needed me to use money gram. I thought the whole situation was fishy.... his email address and the guy to send the money to were different and he wanted me to send the money to Manchester UK. Interesting to say the least..... I almost sent a guy over 500.00 with money gram to the UK on a supposed ebay purchase invoice..... good thing I decided better of it, it was very fishy STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY SIOUX FANS

Correct on the scammer in Denver... I ran into him/her last night. Too many things looked fishy, but i got the to the point of being asked to send it through Western Union.

Quality Inn Central, wife had enough points to get us 3 nights free and the last night cost us $65 I think? Only about 3 miles from the Pepsi Center. Free shuttle service in a 5 mile radius. Doesn't appear to have the best reviews, but we're not planning on spending too much time in the room. Also conveniently located at I-25/I-70 junction.
We're staying at the Red Lion that is about 5 miles away from the Pepsi Center

That's an interesting quote from the recruit. Apparently UND coaches are telling recruits the outdoor stadium with a retractible roof is a done deal. Do you suppose they are also telling them that the Big 12 and Big 10 are fighting over them and they will be joining one of those conferences?

I think this just goes to show that we need to bump our football coaches pay to at least the $150,000 range for the head guy and the $80,000 range for assistants. How can we expect to keep good people around if we pay them some of the worst salaries at our level? I know this would upset the supposed salary heirarchy at UND, but it needs to be done because apparently football coaches are in lot higher demand than hockey coaches nationwide and if we're serious about this move then we had better start paying our people what they are worth.
