I tend to agree, and don't think that he makes it in Chicago. He played in two games in the preseason big deal. He doesn't make it at the next level!! Bottom line just not good enough. Big and physical and thats about it.
Perhaps he should play for Syracuse in the Federal League with Tim McCracken..

I wouldn't mind seeing that as well just to shove it up INCH's a$$, but for UND's sake I hope Miami does sweep them and the Sioux can take care of Miami in the Frozen 4.
I'd like to see an 8-7 Mich win in OT both nights. That'll push both their goalies down where they belong.

Very true, Wheeler is the best player on the Gophs hands down and he will sign after this season. He is a good player albeit a big time jerk in the eyes of Sioux fans.
Agreed, he is also their best "pussy".

A friend and I will be attending our first Sioux/Gopher game at Mariucci Arena. I've been wanting to attend at Sioux game at Mariucci for 5 years! This year I was finally able to score a couple tickets for the Friday game. We booked a room at the Day's Inn near the arena. Any advice you could offer would be fantastic (ie: parking, restaurants, shuttle service). Also, we have SRO tickets. Unfortunately we are both vertically challenged. LOL! Will we have a hard time seeing the ice? How early should we get to the arena to ensure that we get a good spot? I apologize for all the questions. I just want to ensure that we are prepared when we walk into Gopherville.

I have afeeling that in atl east one of the games the gophs will get 3or 4. I see both games being of the 3-2,4-3 variety.
Unfortunately I have to agree that Mn will get 3-4 on us in each game. We didn't seem to match up well against them when they were in GF. They pushed us around pretty easily. If you look at our last 12 WCHA games, the Gophers scored more in a weekend series against us than anyone else. I expect that will continue to be the case. Given the rivalry, they will be up for us and we can't secure points playing the way we did against AA on Sat night. JPL does seem to play his best games in Mariucci. I just hope he isn't getting wore down. We need to sweep to keep some optimism of winning the league and having momentum leading into our break/series against DU. I don't want to look past this weekend, but the DU series will be huge.

We should be able to keep their shots limited like we did against Mich Tech (<20 pg). I like the way our defense is playing. JPL hasn't gotten a shutout since the early part of the season. I expect he'll finally get another one against AA and our scoring will continue to be balanced.

The reality that is this year is tough to swallow. I just have to get my jabs in before we cant see you guys in the standings. I hope we can come around and play for the 3-5 positions. We will know much more after the next two weeks for both teams. If you continue your splitting ways it may be a dissapointing end. If we don't get 6 points in the next 2 weeks it will be the start of dissapointing end for our season. Okposo and Stoa or not.
I'd bet the farm MN finishes top 5.
