One could make the argument that the Gophers, Sioux and Badgers have a number of blue chippers on their roster.
All I can say is that we certainly do not have the number of "blue chippers" on our current roster like we've had in recent years...
-
what does he have to do with our team screwing it up?
Personally I think it would be great to be a head coach and not have to take any responsibility for poor performance/preparation by his team.
-
I think both do.
Maybe, for the Sioux; If everyone comes back. But if the sioux lose Oshie, Chorney, Duncan, and Finley, they'll finish in the bottom half. Guess we'll see....
I think the gophers would be more deserving of a top 10 spot over the sioux.
They'll be plenty of movement on this list before the end of August I suspect.

I see INCH doesn't even have UND or the gophers in the top 10 for next year.
Neither deserve to be. But "Princeton"? come on...
-
One that is 20-12 thank you very much...one game away from the Big 10 championship....
From now on gopherz is going to strictly talk in the 3rd person in this post. He is going to watch basketball tomorrow and not hockey out of being so pissed about the loss. Go GOPHERS (basketball)
you should see if any of them can skate.....

Just got back from a buddies place. A great UND win. If Oshie is hurt, I'd hate to see him healthy. Phenomenal job by the D.
Personally, I'd love to see him healthy!
-
If Genoway is out, force Chorney to rush the puck in a trapping nuetral zone. He will usually create an odd man rush the other way.....
-
Lets see if the streak of 8 shutouts in a row that he is going to start on Fri helps him (even if they won't all be in before the voting is).
I want to be drinking at your house.......
-
I'd be surprised if either TJ or Chay play.

The one this year that is bugging me is Gerbe from BC. There is all kinds of press about him being considered for the hobey and the guy has been warned twice by the league for dirty play and then was suspended by the league for butt ending another player. Seems to me he doesn't meet the "Character" component of the award.
Gerbe is one of the chippiest players I've seen in a long time. He was a little prick in St Louis last year too. I really want another NCAA match-up with them so he can get his ass kicked. Kaip, Radke, or Finley...........................
-
That was before yesterday
And Gopherguy33, got to be optimistic right? Haha....
I can't even image what it would be if we played Sue again this year at all, you're just asking for trouble in that game, just would be brawls.
Personally I feel the Gophers will still be top 5 in the league and have home ice for the playoffs. Then again, if I'm wrong, I'll be much happier......

I was talking with a guy from Duluth and he said that attendance has been so/so and not any sellouts so far. I was at the Mankato game and also the St.Clown ones and was happy with the following that we give our team. My wife and I are heading up Saturday for the games at UMD and are looking forward to seeing a lot of Sioux fans. On a side note, we were in Arizona for our honeymoon the week we played Denver and watched the game at a bar in Mesa along with about 40 Sioux fans!
RT O'Sullivans I presume.

What's the big deal? This isn't too dissimilar from what happens at my house every night!
-
So you're saying he'll walk it off?
I heard his knuckles were injured from too much dragging on the ground.....
-
Because most of the media for what ever reason can't see past the Cup Cake Hockey association. If you listen to the INCH broadcast they kept telling us that the WCHA isn't that good and that the CCHA is a great league top to bottom. No one can look us in the eye and say that with a straight face...
especially when the current pairwise places a potential 8 WCHA teams in the NCAAs....
-
What scares me is someone named "Guy Flaming"!
That should be enough incentive for Chorney to stay.
-
From what I have noticed, the only time Miller puts any effort into his play is when he is on the top line. When he is down on the third or fourth he has no energy or willingness to fight for the puck.
Then he should be booted from the team....Stay with Kozek

Here it is; didn't see it posted elsewhere:

"Oshie, Duncan and Kozek have been playing together on the top line, but this week we've tried something different. Brad Miller was up with them today. I wouldn't read a whole lot into that. We just want to be prepared if things aren't working."
God help us.......

Minnesota D1 Rankings:
1. Minnesota State Mankato
2. Minnesota Duluth
3. St. Cloud State
4. Bemidji State
5. Minnesota

But both could also end up as the next Isaac Reichmuth. You just never know how a player will react in the coming years. I truly hope they succeed though, because it's good for the league. I think UND will be ok in the goalie department *crosses fingers for no Siembidas in the coming years*.
You are correct. Hopefully Bachman won't be the next Aaron Schwitzer!

Team GP Pts
UND 28 41
CC 28 39
Denver 28 33
Mankato 28 28
UW 28 28
UMD 28 25
MTech 28 24
UMN 28 23
SCSU 28 22
AA 28 17
We sweep the last 6, CC splits....
-
That would be correct as we don't get ESPN in Canada.
After last nights game in Winkler Cherry claimed that Dayne Belfour is 9-0-1 in his last 10 games.
Not only is Dayne a good goalie, but he's great at hauling 50 lb boxes of Halibut/Salmon to my truck! Nice to see him doing well.
-
SCSU with a victory against CC last night keeps the race for the cup interesting. A sweep of DU keeps us in the running.
JPL has a chance to back up his league leading stats and solidify himself as a Hobey finalist.
Sioux can move to a #1 seed.
Lots of ifs. I can't make a prediction but I like our chances to do well against DU. Were rested and ready.

As a true Sioux fan, there's only 2 ranking categories:
1. NCAA Title
2. WCHA Title
Anthing less results in sustained disappointment until the start of a new season.
