  1. I tend to believe Gene thinks the ac does not need the game.

Why? Given what we know, if he did think they need the game it would be scheduled by now. Does that mean Gene "holds all the cards" in scheduling the game? IMHO, yes.

Gene holds all the cards because he's sitting there with back to back to back rings on his hand and all is well in Fargo. Until those cards are played out nothing will change.

We might as well call him Lucia.

  2. Why not have the first game in Fargo and then play every year at the home of the team that won the year before?

I think we should have every football between these two teams in the Fargodome......that's if the bison could field a team. Oh wait, they don't discipline for theft rings at Best Buy or faking signatures for a potential state law. How could that have slipped my mind. Sorry.

  3. Gene Taylor clearly has an inflated ego, and is letting emotion guide his business decisions. As difficult as it is to schedule home and homes, there's no reason not to play a team an hour away.

Gene Taylor is a POS. He is the most arrogant person this side of Rocky. Can't wait to the rubes jump ship in Fargo this fall.

  4. Brad Schlossman had a link on his twitter account that Wisconsin lost a high-end recruit because of their academic standards, and that Duluth and Minnesota were possible landing spots for her, among others. Curious to know if the UND coaches have been in contact with her, as I would think that we should be considered one of the national contenders, especially if Karvinen get another year. Add that to the facilities we have, and you would think we would at least draw some consideration. Minnesota definitely doesn't need another star in their lineup, so I hope she doesn't land there or Duluth.

    Lets hope so!!

  5. She is a sophomore. And has already use a redshirt so 2 more years. Maybe can get a medical redshirt because of how much time she missed this year though

I hope she gets the medical redshirt. She has basically played no hockey the first two years. It would be like getting another recruit. When she is healthy she is a hell of player.

  6. Warroad is no better than STA in terms of sand-bagging in A.

    State A tournament appearances:

    1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

Wasn't the idea of the two-class system supposed to be giving more schools the opportunity to play in the state hockey tournament?

    As gfhockey would say...

How long wil warrod acept mediokrity?

    fire steve haateja?

Ok.....that is wicked funny right there!!!!!

  7. Thanks. It looked like there was at least 3 maybe 4 more recruits on campus this weekend but I don't know who they were.

How many years does Leah Jenson have left? She seems like when she is out there she is a spark plug and gets the other girls motivated.

  8. So right now it looks something like this than:

    14-15

    Kara Tupa Fargo, ND (Honeybaked)

    Nicola Eisenschmid Germany

    15-16

    Rebekah Kolstad Mankato East

    16-17

    Abigail Stanley Achiever Academy

    Prospects that have visited

    Charley Dahlquist Eden Prairie (15-16)

    Isabelle Brosseau Eden Prairie (15-16)

Presley Norby Minnetonka (16-17) has visited multiple times

Have to think were looking at some international players too

Emma Nuutinen Finland (17) multiple 18 year olds on this team as well.

    Alina Müller Switzerland (15)

    Anna Shokhina Russia (16)

    Yelena Dergachyova Russia (19)

    Wow! Awesome work JJ!!!

  9. on saturday the und ladies put on a show, the sold out crowd could not believe this team out played the badgers just by playing how they can. this team is still young, but they have a great skills and big hearts. think best is yet to come!

    Right on brother!!!!

  10. Let's see......beat the Badger women on Friday which landed them their first home loss in 18 games I believe and out-shot them in a game where it could have easily been a sweep for the Sioux women. Yep he is doing something wrong.

  11. According to Schlossman, UND will have Karvinen, Tapani, and Eisenschmid for the next three series.

Yep saw that.....that is great news......and hopefully they get Jensen back too. She is a heck of player.

  12. I was wondering when they would be leaving, but I wasn't able to find any information. Will all three (Karvinen, Tapani, and Eisenschmid) be gone starting this weekend?

I think so but i could be wrong. The Olympics starts in a month.
