Boston college got smoked, minny lost to Yale paving our path to the frozen four. Not the best team we've had but this easily could have been the year.

Horrible horrible penalties. Played to 'not lose' the whole game with a one goal lead which was absurd. Got out played, out skated, and out shot. Lost a majority of the battles and clearly most of the face offs. 2 hobey finalists and 3 total goals in 2 NCAA games. We were lucky to win the first game. Rocco looked good friday, no one looked good today. The whole team looked like we just woke up from a nap most of the game. This team wasn't great but this may have been the easiest path to the championship game we have had or will have for a while. Next year ain't going to be the year. These pathetic losses are becoming to common in the tourney. I wish Dell and Brock were still on this team. No pp goals in last few games. This was one uninspired team for the last month at least. I could handle ANOTHER loss to Yale in the tourney if we played to our abilities but to get dominated by Yale the way we did was unacceptable. This was a joke of epic performances and I blame everyone from the head coach on down. To play like you don't care pisses me off. We have hit a lot of pipes all year long, if we were better half those would have gone in, we weren't good enough case closed. Underachieved once again....

Its a gift getting to play Yale in the second round, one win and we're in the Frozen Four!? This is the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Its time to show up and win 5-2, and go into the final four feeling good.

Anyone else get the feeling that Rocco is going to go off in the playoffs? We all know he gets up for the big games and in his short career he has scored several goals against the goofs. Let that guy fly all over the ice and buzz around the net and he's going to have a big time tourney. Rocco has hit more pipes this year then Snoop Dogg, those are about to start going in the damn net and these 3-2 games are going to end up 5-2 wins. Lets hammer the Niagara "hobey" goalie early and often and show him how the WCHA(nchc) rolls, put a couple up early on him. I'm calling for a massacre....

Wisconsin is 8-7-3 this season against NCAA tournament teams but clearly are one of the hotest teams in the country right now. Sconi has won 8 of their last 9 games and their last 6 straight.

Quinnipiac is 5-4-1 in they're last 10 games heading into the tournament. Mass Lowell is 1-6-0 against NCAA tournament teams this season.

--- I work with a bunch of gopher fans and they arent thrilled about having to play the Sioux either. It would be different if they were meeting in the Frozen Four and the winner was going to the championship game.

Personally I'd like to see Michigan lose to stop their 23rd straight NCAA appearance, giving the Sioux the current longest streak.

For the record, I think we all feel better about a gopher loss. What I'm asking is do you feel better about the Sioux performance against cc, seeing how futile the gophers looked. 3 goals, OT, cc was rested and so on. If the gophers went out there tonight and waxed them 6-2, I'd feel a lot worse about our game.

Does this minny shutout loss make anyone feel better about our game?

Could you imagine if Brock Nelson stuck around for this year. I'd rather have Brock then Dell (if I had to choose one).
