Agree. At least in that game in get some action. A Cornell win would be good for pairwise for us if we lose.

Tim Hennesey applied for the Midco job and was not hired. So did Pat Sweeney.
I heard Sweeney didn't apply for the job. I thought Jayson Hajdu told us that earlier in the year.

FYI, I had one class with Landen (@Nate_Dogg34) back when I was in highschool (I'm 19 years old by the way), he is so cocky it's unbelievable. He is one of those kids who never shuts their mouth.

Regarding Bjugstad, I do believe he is one of the 2 best players in college hockey this year for sure. His points aren't showing it because he's basically molested by other opponents, but what he does while on the ice to control play on most of his shifts is unreal. It would be very hard to find someone in college hockey that can control play and be as dominant as he is. Gaudreau is probably the only other player that can be put up there with Bjugstad, IMO.
You're a Gopher fan so I can see why you may believe he is one of the two best players in the nation. He has 13 goals which is a good number but he's not even in the top 30 in the nation for assists. He is a big kid. Strong on the puck and can play. But he is way too inconsistent. I still think it's too early to tell who the top players are right now. And if the kid is that good, he would be good enough to fight off of checks. Plenty of other players are getting the job done, putting goals on the board and helping out their team each game.

At this time of year, we can't let points slip away, especially at home. Need to play two smart, solid hockey games this weekend. Defense needs to play better, that includes the forwards. Kristo and Knight were brutal in our own zone, those last two goals that Minnesota scored on Saturday could have been prevented.

MacWilliam kicking the puck directly to a gopher player and easily giving them the possession of the puck where seconds later they score was some stupid decision making. Should have attempted at pinning the puck against the boards with his skates while waiting for some help.

Tie does feel like a loss. I was working when the game started so only got to see the last 15 mintues of the 3rd period. We had a two goal lead with less than 10 minutes to play and couldn't hold on for the win.
Nice goal by Grimaldi.
