SCSU doesn't have a lot to play for tomorrow night. Secured number one seed, won the cup, own all tiebreakers.
I guess unless wanting to win the cup outright is their main goal. Wisconsin is fighting for their lives trying to get home ice and are a bubble team. I think they win.
umm... pairwise. im sure a win against wisco would be better than a loss or tie in the pairwise. i want und to win tomorrow for pairwise purposes.

The most frustrating thing is that as good as we've played, we still have left some pts on the table.
How we gave up Sat's game to MN is still boggling my mind. And as "hot" of a topic as it's been on here all week, even you that have the "so green you can't see out of them" shades on have to admit that we need to sweep a team that's at the bottom of the league when we are at HOME. Regardless of how hard they play, the doomsdayers are right in the regard that BSU is a horrible team.
Just those 2 pts would give us a share of the title regardless of how clown does tom.
Oh well, cheers for win tonight when we prob didn't deserve one. Good teams find a way though!
to be honest. many teams have left points on the table. plenty of und's ties could have been wins, just like minny's ties. when we played duluth we got outplayed badly but still ended up getting three points.

Definitely not. His team did a video about him and showed some nice highlights. He is a defenseman, so his first priority should be to defend and he does that very well.

i thought und played good. considering how much obstruction bsu was doing, und did a pretty good job to try and overcome that. i may just be happy with a three way tie or finishing in 3rd place, if not 1st. if we finish in alone in second we would most likely play bsu and i dont want to play them again.

i really hate bsu after this weekend. so mcuh cluthing and grabing.

terrible weekend of hockey. how can the refs let all this obstruction go? that one play when a bsu player was tugging on kristo's jersey. how can you not see that. these refs suck.

That's pretty cool but how are fans supposed to know about it? It'll end up being like 15% of the none students participating if they don't advertise on NPR
It says on the website there will be an info card at your seat. Everyone has cell phones these days. If everyone notices it (the info card) they should be able to pull it off. Would be sweet if happened.

ok it's more like 2 hours. my bad. we always take a stop at the A&W in fosston so thats why it seems longer, because it actually is with the stop

probably, They used to do home and home with BSU before they joined the WCHA. CC and DU play at least one series that is home and home..I believe

Not really. Before the beavers joined the wcha that's what UND did for a while under Hakstol. Every season they played them, Fri. away, Sat. home. Im happy we are still playing them. ts an easy road trip for a lot of und fans, only 2.5 hours from gf.

Someone explain to me all the hate for Penn State? I understand that since they started up a D1 hockey program we now have a Big 10 conference, but isn't groth in college hockey good? With all the programs folding it is nice to see a new program. Maybe I'm the only one looking forward to the new conference. Every game is going to be against a quality team.
And how many would that be? Not many. It's ok if new programs emerge but you don't need to take all the schools who are in the same conference in other sports and put them together in the same conference for hockey. Hockey is not as popular as basketball or football in the US. We all know that. College hockey is a small community, and I'm ok with it.

I want to be in a regional with no WCHA members. In the past two years playing Denver and Minny at the Final Five then being placed in the same regional as them, not a fan of that, but who is.

He got a major for kicking a guy against Wayzata. I think it's either a high school policy to get a game for major penalties or else it's Holy Family's.
I've heard he wants to head to the USHL after this year. He's tired of getting targeted by other teams with cheap shots/head shots. Some teams head hunt him pretty good. But, it also sounds like people are trying to get to his dad to get him to stick around for all of high school. But I'd be surprised if that happens. I'll keep my ears open. The Gersich's live a few minutes away from me. People talk.
That was very obvious in the one game I saw him play that was on FSN. They were all over him.

And just think had UND been scheduled to play Denver this weekend. They would have to leave on Wednesday. Good thing they can relax a little while after everything that's happened the past few days.

This weekend was a very pathetic performance from the UNO fan base. Omaha has a population of over 400,000. You would think they could have done better than that. They better be happy they scheduled UND for the outdoor game and didn't play someone else. They probably would have only sold 2,000 tickets had they not played UND.
