Sharing this from @UNDvince97-01 in the football thread in order to spread awareness: Two things regarding the 1883 collective that need to be addressed: First...It is an absolute administrative embarrassment and disgrace that UND is charging the 1883 Collective 25k a year to basically raise money for UND athletics only because they are doing it in the name of the University. Armacost, Chaves and whomever else need to be held accountable for this. It's unnecessary overhead that needs to be resolved to be more financially efficient. If anybody wants to b*tch about something important....this is it. Calls and emails. This is unacceptable. Second ...rent for the 1883 collective unit in Memorial Village. $1600 a month. Do the math. That's money that could be spent on athletes. Hoping the building owners can help out with that and do better for the cause.

No kidding. $25K and the $1,600 a month rent would go a long way toward getting some impact players to UND. Can’t wait to see the canned response from admin on this

I am hoping they're still trying to find more DL and LBs with playing experience. Outside of McNeal and Rucker, the experience drops significantly. DT and LB still seem very thin.

It seems if the staff gets someone to visit campus they have a very high success rate! 😏

Another addition at a position of need! 6’ 4”, 230 lbs with three years remaining. Offers from SFA, SUU, Delaware State and Lindenwood.

Definitely still going to need some more help on the DL. Hopefully they’re able to find a couple 300+ lb guys out there.

Not sure but according to @UND-FB-FAN there was a ODU LB on campus today. I am just guessing that it was him. We need his size at LB. He played 4 games for ODU this season and had 3 TFLs. It appears he was on the same JUCO team with current DL Samuels-Parker

I believe he’s in a volunteer capacity. Played 40 games in the NFL. Made a specials teams mistake for Green Bay which seemed to derail his career. It took a toll on him mentally by the sound of it and he’s now an advocate for mental health.
