I'm not mad at the Gophers..I'm disappointed in the system...But quite frankly a team that doesn't stack up to it's "seed" won't last long anyway so really there isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned....Just pointing out a letter to the editor I came across in today's STRIB.

I can get along with anyone as long as they can call a spade a spade....Lucy and I obviously wouldn't get along. I did hear his comment on Friday as well however I would have expected the same on Saturday afternoon after the loss...

I just have one thing to say - How sweet was that goal by Spirko? Reminded me of Bo/Ballard last year.... Anyone happen to see Donny Lucy's comments in the STRIB this morning? What a clown aZZ. Instead of giving credit where due.....downplays the game and it's importance heading into the playoffs. Also noticed Briggs mentioned "some" gave it their all in the game...I read into that possibly some internal discontent in the lockeroom ..Pile on the Hirsch situation and you might be looking at an early exit...

Well for that to happen someone will have to kick his ass in the stands. He is suspended for tonights game from what the paper wrote this morning.

I'm optimistic of course we can pull this out...but damn we got schooled by Denver a few weeks ago at the REA and it doesn't leave me with a good taste considering the rest situation on top of that previous schooling. Anyone else happen to notice that Brady Murray is solid even at 50% health?

Frankly I'm a little puzzled why WPos would not want to see the re-match between UND/UM...My guess is he likes his team's chances a little more with a potential match-up with Denver? Speculation on my part. The Gopher fans sitting next to me last night were pulling for Wisconsin which puzzled me given their hatred for Red. I suspect they also didn't want to potentially have to play UND. Who knows...
