Where were these protesters when the pipeline broke on the Yellowstone River last year? Then again if there was oil on Standing Rock they'd welcome all the pipelines you could put in.

Mavpuck might know more about it. It sounds like it had to do with Alabama (the head coach) trying to build a hockey arena on campus.

Nothing more on ASU other then Powers hinting to an on campus arena. The Coyotes owner said a arena should be announced soon (beginning of the season, hasn't happened yet). UNLV moves up to ACHA D1 next year. Zee Kahn said that the will be moving to the new NHL practice arena being built in Summerlin. Kahn also said the team is looking to play their NCAA games at Orleans Arena or South Point as possible arenas (South Point Arena would need a renovation) and the Tomas & Mack Center is too big. And almost forgot, Dean Blais mentioned Alabama's hockey team at the fan luncheon when Omaha was up in Alaska.

It's the hockey ones, I guess they think being ranked in the top 10 in the PWR (yes I know it doesn't matter yet) means they should be ranked in everyone poll.
