Not sure how long Huska is going to be in this game. 3-0 Canada
-
He could still play.
-
Jost with an assist
-
Finland out plays Denmark, shots 36-10, and loses to Denmark 3-2.
-
Tomek is the backup against Canada
-
And so is Russia, except Russia is up 3-0 in the first.

They take too many penalties the good teams will get the US to take penalties, they only had a 1 goal lead until the end of the 2nd.
-
I don't see the USA getting medal
-
#2 got crushed behind the net.

I wouldn't worry about Idaho, they have had only 4 good seasons ever in football. This year would be their fourth.
-
UNLV will be the next school to make the jump, all the pieces are there and Foley will help out on the financial side. It would be cool if the Engelstads have been aproched by Khan about the hockey program. I do agree that a big re-alignment isn't happening soon.

Oklahoma and Central Oklahoma have been pretty good lately.

The NCHC could have series like Hockey East. If the NCHC grows to 16 teams they could have two different teams on the same weekend and the games could be worth two games in conference points. That's if those teams only play once a year. Now 4 of those teams are in the PAC12, so they would go to a PAC12 conference when they have 6 teams. If I was the PAC12 I'd wait until they have 8 teams before starting a conference. We've all seen how starting a conference with 6 teams has worked for the B1G. There are teams that will end up in the WCHA even if they would want to be in the NCHC. The NCHC could have taken ASU and Mankato but they didn't. They wanted ASU and not Mankato, but didn't want an odd number of teams. The NCHC conference tournament would be in St.Paul at the X, that move will happen soon. At some point the NCAA tournament will have to expand. The easy way to do that is add two more teams to each regional giving the #1 and #2 seeds in each regional a bye.

The MAC has had 4 hockey teams and they could have tried to create a MAC hockey conference but that didn't happen. One minute it's a new CCHA conference headed by a MAC school now it's a MAC conference.

The NCHC isn't worried about Miami and Western Michigan leaving for a hypothetical CCHA. The buyout is there to keep Miami or Western Michigan form leaving the NCHC, the buyout is there more to keep North Dakota and Denver from leaving the NCHC for the B1G. The only way those two leave for the B1G is if the get B1G Network money. Alabama has made it known what conference they want to be in without saying anything. Alabama fan base has said they want to be in the NCHC. The only way Alabama would want to be in the WCHA is to play UAH 4 times a year. Buffalo would join the AHA. Syracuse who would be a good add to the NCHC, but would be most likely added to Hockey East.

There is none.

I don't know where the Rutgers hockey GM came up with Colorado looking to move up. Once there is a mention of a ACHA team looking to move up to NCAA hockey, Rutgers is there to talk about how they are looking to move up.

I just saw the most ridiculous elbowing penalty. Crosby gets hit in the face with Dumolin's stick and Hartnell gets a penalty for elbowing Crosby, all while Dumolin has Hartnell pined to the boards.

I am surprised that Idaho has only had 4 years ever that they were good at football. I'm hoping that Idaho get beaten badly when they join the Big Sky just to prove that they never belonged in the FBS.
-
When people say "roll tribe" they are copying Alabama's "roll tide". So like ASU's forks up hand sign?
-
The CCHA is not coming back, and if it did Miami (a founding member of the NCHC) and Western Michigan (who begged to be in the NCHC) are not leaving for this Hypothetical CCHA. Now if CBS Sports had any say in how the NCHC adds or if a team pay the buyout. Arizona State would have been added, well Arizona State wasn't added no matter if CBS wanted them in the NCHC or not. The NCHC has a upper hand on who they will or will not add to the conference. ASU applied to only the NCHC and would have gotten into the WCHA if they wanted to. The NCHC will expand at some point in the East, West, Midwest, and South. Alabama, Missouri State, Iowa State, Cincinnati, Pitt, and Illinois State. If these schools for example wanted to go NCAA D1 they would be looking at the NCHC, and the NCHC wants to be the top conference that everyone wants to be in. If the PAC12 started a hockey conference would the NCHC make those schools that join the NCHC pay the buyout? I think it depends, I could see the NCHC tell the PAC12 schools Haley only have to pay half but I could see them letting them walk away without a buyout and also making them pay the whole buyout. Fenton is doing an excellent job as commissioner and the the conference presidents and AD's need to make sure he stays for a long time. The NCHC is in very good hands.

Maybe a new better coach would keep them here.
-
For other schools in the PAC12 to add hockey Arizona State has to be successful. I'm not saying that will keep Colorado and Arizona from going D1, I think that it would keep the other PAC12 schools from joining. I expect at some point the NCHC's foot print to be bigger, both east and west.

The Utah Grizzlies have been doing pretty good attendance wise, around 4,900.
-
Utah also has a hockey arena next to campus, The Salt Lake City Sports Complex. Not sure on seating but has two Olympic ice sheets or the Utes club team.
