    Well there are some former players who just got $70,000 they could give part of that to the program that got them $70,000. Or just ask USA Hockey to fund women's hockey.

    Mankato negotiating a new 10 year contract with Mike Hastings. Looks like they think he's going to Omaha, so better try to keep him.

    The NHL has said they are not going, but owners have said they can't stop their players from going.

    The women's hockey national team has now made it impossible for college players to play for the national team. Since these women are getting paid, I see the NCAA saying you got paid and now your eligibility is gone. i think Hakstol was asked his thoughts on it while the meetings between the women and USA Hockey were going on in Philadelphia. Is Hakstol playing hero? Not to me, because this is the first time I've heard him talk about it. Now Brad has been playing hero for a long time.

    They better win every gold medal from here on out and every tournament. There should be a deduction of $2,000 a player for every loss to teams not Canada. I'd like USA Hockey to pay anyone that goes to see the women's team play.

    This whole thing is starting to be the reaction to players getting pay cuts in the NWHL. Since the NWHL doesn't want to pay them, they figured it would be easier to get USA Hockey to pay them.

    Where would a NTDP women's/girls team play or who would they play? They could combine the NWHL with the CWHL and add the Minnesota Whitecaps to have a 10 team league. then find a way for the NHL to do what the NBA does for the WNBA.

    Someone did call out Brad on how he is only telling the women's side.

    Each teams exposed list is suppose to be show the day before if I remember right.

    The Penguins have to expose Murray, since he's the only goalie they have that can be. If I was Vegas I'd take Murray if he's not protected, they need a franchise goalie. The Kings goalie situation is interesting do they keep Quick or Bishop. If I was Vegas' GM I'd take two NHL capable starters and a prospect for their goalies.

    I find in interesting that even the owners say they can't stop the players from going to the Olympics.

    Need to add that Fleury is way better then every NHL goalie out there, and Murray sucks he's an AHL caliber goalie.

    Men get nothing. The maturity leave that the women were asking for made it sound like they are permeant members of the National team.

    So the women ask to be paid $237,000 each on an Olympic year and $149,000 for non-Olympic year. They better not ask high schoolers or college players to play for them until they are done with college. Lets see if USA Hockey gave them that much.
