Due to when they decommitted from NMU, Western Michigan was the only school willing to lose a goalie late to the portal. They should have been trying to flip Hampton when he was at Fargo.

The CHN podcast was talking about how the top 16 in the PWR at Thanksgiving (like in the NHL) show who will likely make the NCAAs. Last year 11 of the 16 teams at Thanksgiving made the NCAAs. So, the PWR matters at Thanksgiving.
