It's not down playing a rivalry... Because we don't look at it like a rivalry no matter how much you want it to be. We (the majority of UMD) fans look at the gophers and the badgers as rivalries not und. Most here look at UND as a very talented team with a great tradition/legacy not a rivalry, but if you want it to be/think it is a rivalry more power to ya and I respect what you think even if I disagree. By no means am I comparing UMD to any of the three like I said... We aren't even in the same "league" when it comes to the three. But it is a fact that we look at wisky as our biggest rival.

Haha I hope I'm not one of those fans. I guess the same could be said for some und fans for me but I think I'll stick with the majority as most are nice people.

I don't know what it is about wisky... Just can't stand them... I would say the border thing but und also borders us and we don't look at you guys like we do wisky. But you are right the new league will develop different rivalries and maybe UMD and UND will have one someday.

I agree! Very tough loss in Alaska. But that's what I mean when I say up and down. One minute they look VERY good the next you wonder what the heck is going on... Such is the love of sports I suppose, anything can happen . A lot of kids know that these are really big games for UND which adds to the excitement. I just hope the team that played Mich. Tech (although a very good team) doesn't show up... Lol we might be in trouble if that happened.

Hopefully we can rearrange those stars on Friday and Saturday lol. But like I said earlier UMD has been a little up and down lately so we shall see what happens. Should be a great time nevertheless.

All I know is that I go to most of the games and there seems to be a lot of people/at least 90 percent seats filled when I go. But hey what do I know.

I agree next weekend will be a sell out. Almost every game this season has been a sellout crowd which is nice for the team/Duluth in general.

It's on East Superior St. Instead of West Superior St. where Dubh Linn is located. They aren't very far from each other at all.

Not a bad choice at all. I live in Duluth so if anyone wants to know anything let me know... Just trying to be a friendly Bulldog fan haha. By the way if anyone wants a good place to go before/after the game go to Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub or Carmody Irish Pub. Both good places to have a drink or get something to eat.
