  1. If Oral Bob is going to do this, they will be in the Sweet 16 again.
  2. Went to SUU, didn't seem to have worked out, went to Montana and seemed to have figured it out in his last year.
  3. I would think so. Tough break for him because before he got hurt it looked like he was putting it all together. If he, Sueker, Levias, and Mathews had all been fully healthy in 21-22...
  4. ORU wins, but it will be more in the 6 to 9 point range.
  5. Nero hitting the portal for his last year.
  6. I never really know how to gauge walk-ons and besides, this thing is going to change between now and when the ball roll back out in Oct.
  7. I don't know of any official word, all I know is that he was gone for the whole year and there was a reason behind it.
  8. So lets look at the current roster Graduated: Sueker People honored on Senior Day: Nero, Danielson, Norman. Lets go with the assumption that all 3 seniors are done in addition to Sueker. So that opens up 4 scholarships plus the 1 vacated by Victor N. not showing up. UND has finally removed all the players with a COVID year if this occurs btw. Seniors (2) : T, Trent Juniors (2): Mathews, Grant Sophomores (4 scholar/2 walk-on) :Brooks, Eaglestaff, Omot, Levias, Hong, Nicholson Freshman (3 scholarship): Doppler, Erikson, and Bothun. This leaves UND with 2 CURRENT open scholarships to use. Projected starting lineup (given returning players) Trent Eaglestaff Omot T/Incoming Player Mathews/T/Incoming player Bench: Brooks Levias Doppler Bothun Erikson Easy decision to slide Eaglestaff to the 2 spot with Trent. As mentioned: UND needs to add to their post depth behind T and Mathews and get their PG of the future on the roster. There is a lot to like here and build off of if they add at those two positions. Of course, other things need to fall in place.
  9. BTW: The 23-24 season thread will be started no sooner than after the post-season bids have been handed out or unless UND says they aren't playing.
  10. Well one good thing came out of that CIT game: Huff got to 2,000 career points. I think of it also is getting more reps for likes of Hurst, Beal, Aumer, Vanderwal, McCarthy. People that UND will need next year to fill the holes left by Orth, Gordon, Daninger, and Manson, while the freshman get up to speed. The more those women can play, the better. Plus, I would love to see Orth get to 1,000 career points, she is only 39 points away.
  11. I looked at the records of the teams that made the WBI last year BG 15-15 Fur 19-12 SMU 15-15 AP 19-11 David 16-14 Nevada 19-11 Cleveland St 19-8 NE 14-15 Don't know why they couldn't make it.
  12. Not as confident, the UST and Omaha losses hurt. I think WBI is a real shot.
  13. Just running a scenario, I dont personally know anything. Let's say that this happens that out of the 6 people that UND wants to keep, we have these 4.
  14. What if they just keep Eaglstaff, Brooks, T, and Trent?
  15. 3 more years with a modest payraise is fair to me.
  16. She is going into the final year of her deal, she has done enough to see this through a few more seasons.
  17. 18 wins 3rd in the Summit finally beat NDSU and USD A nice core coming back hopefully with more talent coming in. There is reason for hope again. Oh, and its time to give Mal her $$$$
  18. That one hurt, really bad. It was a bad flashback to those 15-16 and 16-17 teams. Been a while since I was this gutpunched as a fan.
  19. Well, now I am ready to be hurt again when UND gets shafted on postseason opportunites.
  20. Was another step forward for the women this year but man...... this sucked.
  21. Hurst needs to get back out there
  22. If it means UND wins, at this time of year: I don't care. Survive and Advance by any means necessary.
