  1. The big difference is that Utah has some semblance of a defense and an elite defensive line. I get what your saying but that was the worst SEC defense I've ever seen.
  2. Check the teams we've struggled against. They're all pass heavy. It's no secret.
  3. I don't know if you watched the game but you should watch the first quarter from the link above. It's beyond sloppy for both teams on d.
  4. From what I saw, neither team has a lick of defense.

  6. Mizzou has no d. They were really really terrible.

    Da Bears

They played Mizzou last week and lost 72-43.... in football. At one point they led 35-34 but couldn't keep pace with the Tigers who were picked last in the SEC. Tough to know much about MSUs offense since Mizzou has a terrible defense. Just from watching the first half and some change I thought they had a few nice players on offense. The QB has great hair and made some good plays. The RB looked really good. They have a stud TE. Some of their WRs looked capable. It was a true spread vs spread Missouri Fluff style of game. Their defense, on the other hand, looked hapless. Now Mizzou has some athletes on offense and some WRs that looked very good. Da Bears were terrible at tackling and made what should have been short gains at best into long TDs. As a team they didn't look very physical or tough. You can tell that they are carrying the losing mentality with them from the previous two seasons. This is a must win for us. Some stats from their last game. MSU - Passing Player Cmp Att. Yds. TD INT Long Sack Peyton Huslig 24 35 353 2 1 89 4 MSU - Rushing Player Att. Gain Loss Net TD Lg. Avg. Calan Crowder 11 129 5 124 2 75 11.3 Myron Mason 8 29 6 23 0 12 2.9 MSU - Receiving Player Rec. 8. Yea, Jake just isn't built for the inside game. He showed a lot of heart against Utah.
  9. Their sack was of Heidelbaugh. Studs was never sacked.
  10. He made something out of nothing quite a few times and took a few big hits. I think it was more about his poise than his stats. Two plays he made that ended with long completions were what made the biggest impression in my mind. He evaded their rush a bunch of times also.
  11. System fullback???? No... not him.
  12. He should've stayed at Louisville. He had a good thing going.
  13. Mizzou qb has 17 completions for 6 TDs
  14. Yup. Collar bones usually don't take too long to heal.
  15. Da Bears seem to be losing some steam but you can't really count them out with how bad Mizzous d is.
  16. Judging by our ability to make verbal adjustments at the line it was nowhere near as loud as the Fargo Dome.
  17. 34-28 Tigers...... 7 min til halftime.....
  18. 28-27 Bears
  19. 10 yard in + one whiffed tackle = a long Tiger TD pass. First one to 80 wins.... maybe
  20. Bears QB: "Hmmm nobody seems to be open. I should throw the bomb." Tigers DB: "Thanks bro."
  21. Its as if Missouri wants no part of a win. 3rd and 15? Throw the bomb and cross your fingers.
  22. And Mizzou promptly runs it out to the 21 after a near safety
  23. How'd the first punt go you ask? 70 yards, downed at the 1. This game has it all, except for tackling.
  24. Tigers got greedy after missing a wide open deep ball and got intercepted the next time they went down the field.
  25. And another Td run. 34 yards this time. Defense is optional.
