In the ESPN app if you search for Ice hockey, you can actually see all the NCAA games the ESPN has, include the UND game.  You just will need to go through a sign in process for access to ESPN 3

I saw that too. I plan on trying it out for the Duluth/Michigan game and if it doesn’t work I will do a seven day trial with Hulu, Fubo or YouTube.

  2. Looking at USHL stats; Kunz has good size and seems to have a nose for the net. Looking forward to seeing him at UND. I could see him coming in next year*. Although he may need another year of high school.(?)

*caveat being the possibility of returning seniors.

Not trouble but early on the picture was jumping around a bit.

17-2 shots in favor of Duluth but a scoreless tie going into the second period. Duluth still smarting over being stunned by the Tigers in the pod.

I’m on it now...Thanks.  Crazy stat. Love the score. Go laTigres!!

Did anyone try to watch the games yesterday on an Apple TV?  I tried to watch the CC-Miami game last night it showed a SCSU-Omaha press conference.  The game schedule does not update very well.  I watched Saturday and Sunday on the Apple TV without much problem, although the games do not update on the live stream section and the upcoming schedule is all messed up in the live section as well.  When I sent a message to Sidearm they said they were not aware of any problems.  This is a pretty usual response, but I am sure there were not a lot of folks trying to watch last night.  Also, I tried to Airplay from my IPad when the App did not work and got the gray NCHCTV rectangle in the top right with just audio of the game.  This is the same that I got at the start of the pod, but have not tried it since the Apple TV had started working (at least for a while).  It is definitely time for the NCHC to move on from this group.  Does not seem like they are to focused on satisfying the customer base.

I had issues with the app on AppleTV for the SCSU game.  But, was able to airplay from my laptop. It’s been frustrating for sure.

Is there any doubt that Mitchell Miller will be the 3rd Freshman Defenseman brought in this year? I've done the comparisons before.

    • Experience:
      • Miller: 2 Years Junior Experience
        • International Experience
          • Hlinka
          • WJAC (X2)
      • Moore: 1 Year Junior Experience
    • Performance:
      • Miller: USHL 1st Team
    • Draft:
      • Miller: 3rd / 4th Round (Most Likely)
      • Moore: 5th Round

I think Moore is a great player, but Miller's resume is better in every way. I don't see any way if it's one or the other, that Miller isn't the guy. Now, I do hope they get creative, because I don't want to lose either.

I think someone had suggested previously that they might bring in 4 defensemen (Sanderson, Kleven, Miller, and Moore) and move Rieger to a F/D role like they did with Casey Johnson. I think this makes a lot of sense. Then they would bring in 4 forwards (Gaber, Rizzo, Ness, and Budy).
